The Dragons Egg is a lovely dance, acting, and yoga retreat center located in the woods of Ledyard, CT. It is an hexagonal shaped building with a heated, wood sprung floor that is perfect for groups doing dreamwork. Since most of the dreamwork process involves getting comfortable and relaxed, this is best done on a yoga mat or blanket, and a heated floor really makes a difference!
Directions:
If coming from the South: I 95 to exit 89 "Allyn Street". Turn left (away from Mystic proper) at end of ramp. Continue to third light at Rte 184 (aka Gold Star Highway). Turn Right on 184. Continue for less than a mile to Shewville Rd. (there is a light here). Turn Left onto Shewville Rd. Drive. Go 1.4 miles. You will come to two driveways on your left. Take the second drive, which has a black post box that says “Dragons Egg". This second driveway will take you into a field. Dragon's Egg lies at the end of the field. Park in the field.
If coming from the North: I 95 to exit 90, Mystic Seaport exit. Turn right at the end of the ramp, away from the Seaport. You will be on Rte. 27. Continue to General Store in Old Mystic. Bear left by the store, and immediately bear right onto Shewville Rd. You will cross Rte. 184. Continue with the directions as above from 184. (see above).
